Aim

To assure the LaunchPad Membership that we will treat their private data in the same way we know they will treat ours – with utmost care to ensure it remains at all times ‘private’.

Definitions

As used in this policy:

  1. Data is any information we capture during the sales, onboarding and day to day operations of LaunchPad, including text, images, audio and video information
  2. Information includes both LaunchPad or Collaborator’s information
  3. User means any LaunchPad employee, Collaborator, subcontractor or agent accessing the LaunchPad Network either directly, over wifi or remotely via a VPN.

General Policy

LaunchPad operates the www.launchpadcentre.com website, which provides facilities and a community curation Service to our collaborators (members).

This page is used to inform website visitors and members of our community, regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at www.launchpadcentre.com unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name, phone number, and postal address. The information that we collect will be used to contact or identify you by us (LaunchPad).

Children’s Privacy

Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.

CCTV

LaunchPad maintains a number of high-definition colour CCTV cameras throughout our sites and carparks.  From time to time your image may be captured on the footage from these cameras.  LaunchPad will keep private all video footage available to authorise security personnel or police for the purpose of investigation.  We may also provide supervised access to our equipment where LaunchPad Collaborators have a legitimate need to review footage.  All access is provided via LaunchPad equipment only and no footage will be provided to a third party without the prior consent of any Collaborators captured in the footage.

Recording and Live-Streaming of Events

From time to time, LaunchPad records private and public events for the purpose of making the recordings available online via YouTube, Facebook and other social media services.  Whenever a recording is being conducted, LaunchPad will endeavour to alert Collaborators prior to the commencement of the event.  Every effort will be made to obscure or remove people not directly involved in the event.

Augmented Sound

LaunchPad is actively exploring the use of Augmented Realities in a business context, including Augmented Sound.  Where experiments may be recording ambient sound, LaunchPad will ensure that all recordings are kept private at all times.  LaunchPad will also alert Collaborators of a sound recording experiments.
