After Hours Access
For access to the buildings after hours and weekends, you will have to arrange to collect a swipe tag from reception before the day of your booking, you can organize this by emailing
When you have finished using our facilities your swipe tag will be preferably returned personally to the Ground Crew member you organised the tag through if this is not possible you may leave your tag on the reception desk.
LaunchPad 2: Both the front and rear doors have a swipe card reader. The front doors are currently locked out of business hours but you can use your swipe to unlock the door out of business hours. You can also use the swipe card at the carpark entrance after-hours. the door should automatically relock after 30 seconds of activation please contact groundcrew if this is not the case.
Last-out checklist (LP2)

- Ensure doors are closed and secure

- Air Conditioning will turn on automatically (8am) and off (5.30pm). If it has been extended, it cannot be turned off immediately.
- Turn off all light switches located as follows (if not last out, turn off appropriate lights):
- Rear open area – two switches adjacent to rear door.
- Underneath Mezzanine and meeting rooms/toilets downstairs – four switches next to downstairs fridge.
- Mezzanine area (Treehouse) – two switches on pole on left of front door (third is not required).
- ONLY AT NIGHT – For kitchen lighting or for casual front area, switches are located on pole between windows at front.
- NOTE: The fluoro light in the rear area cannot be turned off. This is a security light.
- Turn off the Mezzanine (Treehouse) bathroom and kitchen light switches if required.
- After hours the door should relock after 30 seconds of activation please contact groundcrew if it is has not locked automatically.
Light Switches
The main light switch is located at the base of the stairs. The following table details the location of the light switch for each office or area.

Coffee/Hospitality
For those who have paid to have access to coffee and tea facilities in the kitchens there are both glasses and cups available in the kitchens. The Coffee Machine at LaunchPad 2 is fairly easy to use – just make sure the milk is attached in the fridge before using. The Coffee Machines will turn on automatically at 8am and off at 5.30pm. Downstairs, please place milk tube into the water container in fridge AND put cap on the milk container. To turn on out of these hours hold down the button on the side of the screen.
Bathrooms
Bathrooms are available behind the Tarkine and Otway rooms in LP2 the light switches for these rooms are by the fridge. In LP1 the switches are by door to the bathrooms located at the back of the building by the kitchen.
