Occasionally the HDMI connectors for the Sony Bravia monitors lockup and you can’t get them to display input from your laptop.
A factory reset seems to fix the problem:
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- Select Settings.
- Select System Settings.
- Select Factory Settings.
- Select OK.
The reset will ask you if it’s for Home or Business – choose Home. When it asked you if you want to set up for Digital or Analog signals, skip this step.
