Master Light Switches

The main light switch is located at the base of the stairs.  The following table details the location of the light switch for each office or area.

Site Area Light Switch Location
LaunchPad 2 All lights are controlled from the single set of switches and are labelled. Near fridge in the front kitchen, ground floor.
LaunchPad 3 Press the ‘All Off’ button – this will give you 5 minutes with the lights on until it automatically turns all lights off. Switches are located on the support pole near the northern end of the tram.

There is also a second set of switches located at the south-western Gough Street entrance.

Coffee/Hospitality

For those who have paid to have access to coffee and tea facilities in the kitchens there are both glasses and cups available in the kitchens. The Coffee Machine at LaunchPad 2 is fairly easy to use – just make sure the milk is attached in the fridge before using. The Coffee Machines will turn on automatically at 8 am and off at 5.30pm. Downstairs, please place milk tube into the water container in the fridge AND put the cap on the milk container. To turn on out of these hours hold down the button on the side of the screen.

Bathrooms

Bathroom lights in LaunchPad 3 should automated come on during business hours.  You can manually control them from the master light switches.  After-hours the lights operate using a sensor located in the bathroom entrance.  This will cause the lights to come on for 10 minutes as you enter the area.

Bathrooms in LaunchPad 2 have light switches located on the Master Light Switches and should be on during business hours.  After-hours, you can manual control the lights from the Master Light Switch board.
